Overview
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks a senior Civil Engineer (Hydraulic)/Hydrologist to serve as the District's specialist and leader for sediment transport, fluvial geomorphology, and river mechanics studies. This GS-13 permanent position offers the opportunity to apply advanced hydraulic and hydrologic expertise to complex water resource challenges across a diverse geographic region with varied climatic and hydrologic conditions.
Job Description
Serves as the District senior specialist and leader with primary responsibility for sediment transport/fluvial geomorphology/river mechanics studies. The District area of responsibility exhibits complex and diverse climates and a broad range of hydrologic, hydraulic, sediment, and fluvial geomorphologic characteristics. GS-13 permanent position. No remote work. Occasional travel up to 10%. Professional Engineer or Professional Hydrologist license required in any US state or territory.
Salary: $106,437–$153,665/year (GS-13)
